Todays video lesson: How to Frost Glass.. with frost effects enamel paint. If that paint is sold out (since it sells out fast) you can make your own with FolkArt multi-use or enamel paints in a matte or satin finish, you need to water them down: mix 1 part water to 2 parts paint for 30 to 60 seconds (it does not have to be an exact ratio, but it must be totally mixed or it will leave opaque spots, so over mix on this, I use a craft brush when I do it). Aged & Charred Cocktail Smoker Product Test Can I use it on Spices? Small Space Solutions #shorts

Aged & Charred reached out and asked me to try their Cocktail Smoker, here are my thoughts! It's really cool, it's definitely a gift I will be giving this year to some of my family & friends this year. While this is made to add wood smoke flavor to cocktail drinks like Bourbon, Whiskey, Brandy, etc I have been using it to add smoky flavor to salts , seasonings and sauces too. Buying smoked sauces can be expensive, having this lets me add the smoke whenever I want. And yes, if you want to add smokey flavor to your hot chocolate, giving it that camping feel, you can do that too! If you don't have an outside smoker, or if you live where you can't have a smoker grill, this little device just might work for you! Below I'll share how I use it for items other than drinks, and give you some links to cocktail recipes, and an affiliate link to where you can buy it online or just check it out. This company has several kits, at different price points, and is really well packaged, this kit has a beautiful wood box and felt quite elegant. How to use: Put what you want to smoke into the your glass. Put the base on top of the glass, put a pinch of the wood chips (shavings) into the small basket, heat up the wood chips with a cooking torch by holding it close but not lighting the chips on fire (they have kit's that include a torch if you don't have one in your kitchen or bar already) as soon as you see smoke put the top over it and the smoke will settle on top of the liquid, salt, seasoning etc. How I smoke Salts/Seasonings/Sauces with this kit: I use the same glass that I would for making a cocktail, put my salt, spice etc in it and I will smoke once, then stir it and smoke it a second time, then I cook with it that same day. It's not the same as smoking for 12 hours on a grill, but it definitely gives it a touch of smokey flavor, especially for mild flavored foods. So far I've tried smoked salt on fish and smoked bourbon sauce from scratch on chicken with success! DIY Coastal Ornaments, here is how you can make these beautiful Coastal Christmas and Holiday Ornaments! I'm an Etsy seller who loves to create beautiful things, I'm not an expert in videography though, so please be kind! I also know not everyone can afford to buy already made crafts & art, especially right now as prices are climbing weekly on pretty much everything we need. So I've decided to upload more videos on how to create some of the items I sell the most so that if you want one, you can make your own. If you wish to buy one of mine please click the Etsy link below. If you want to see more videos please like & subscribe. If you need links on where you can buy the supplies see those links below! This project takes around an hour over a one or two day period as you must let things dry, I do recommend making multiples to save time. You can change up what you glue onto these easily, use as many existing items you already have, broken jewelry makes for great ornament bling. I hope the tips on how to glue items are helpful for other crafts too. Enjoy & happy crafting!
