Todays video lesson: How to paint a Starfish on Glass, stippling techniques, shadow and raised outlines, and how to remove it if you need to make a change. This is (Part 3 of my Glass Series 101).. using water based enamel paint. Links to the supplies used are below to make it easy for you to find them. In this session I show you how almost anyone can successfully paint on glass with a few tips and techniques, today we will use an oil based marker to draw a rough outline of what we are painting, paint it, make a change, and use a DOT tool Stippling shadow effect. Hopefully this information will help you to create a beautiful glass gift for yourself or someone else! Materials I used: clean glass object, bake-able enamel glass paint White, Black, Blue, water in a cup, paper towel, paint palette or plastic plate to put your paints on, Small round Brush #6 (or smaller) Round Brush 0, Detail 00., and 2 small DOT tools. Optional: small fine mist spray bottle with water in it to keep your paints wet if they start to dry on the pallet.
