How To Paint A Wine Glass That Is Dishwasher Safe!

Have you ever wanted to know how to paint a Wine glass for yourself or someone as a Gift without the worry that they would always have to hand wash it? Well, there is an easy solution to make it dishwasher safe, use Acrylic Enamel Paint, clear coat it and bake it in your oven! They are easy to use, water based and harden to create a glossy finish. Brands like FolkArt enamel paint are usable on both glass and ceramic and are dishwasher safe once cured!

Hand-painted Stemless Wine Glass Enamel Paint

Time: Active 30-60 minutes depending on you! Total 26 hours.


Supplies Needed: shopping link

  1. Painters tape any brand will do

  2. Rubbing Alcohol

  3. Folk Art Enamel Paints

  4. Fine Detail Marker if you want to draw borders

  5. Fine Detail Paint Brushes

  6. Glassware







Steps:

  1. Remove any stickers & wash off any sticker residue, wipe with rubbing alcohol.

  2. Paint glass & let dry 24 hours

  3. To Fire: place it in a cool oven on a cookie tray, then turn the oven on to 350ºF, after the oven reaches 350ºF allow your project to bake for 30 minutes (or longer if the paint you bought requires)!
